Pamela Knudson earned an undergraduate degree in mass communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead and pursued graduate studies at North Dakota State University. A reporter with the Grand Forks Herald since 2011, she has received writing awards from the North Dakota and Minnesota newspaper association and the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW). She is a past recipient of the NFPW Sweepstakes Award. She is the Northeast District director and a past president of the North Dakota Professional Communicators, the state affiliate of the NFPW.
