MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead has become the last city in Minnesota to supply police officers with Narcan, the life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an overdose from opioids. That includes heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioid drugs. State Rep. Heather Keeler of Moorhead said a new state law requires all on-duty officers to carry two doses of Narcan and be trained to use it. 'I'm grateful for all of the community members who have been working hard at the local level to enact this policy change,' Keeler said.
